Looking for a game developer? You've come to the right place.

Solution-oriented, enthusiastic, consistent and dedicated. I currently work as a Technical Lead (Campaign & Missions) at Relic Entertainment. Prior to this, I worked at Ubisoft Montréal, Activision Blizzard, and Electronic Arts. Franchises and brands I have worked on include Age Of Empires, Company of Heroes, Crash Bandicoot, Destiny, Far Cry, Monopoly, Tetris and World Series of Poker.

Primary focus: Programming

Architecture

I am extremely passionate about not just building things, but building things the right way. I understand the difficulty in maintaining and updating buggy code, and to build on top of fragile code. I have always pushed for code to be written in a way that is extensible, maintainable and bug-free.

Optimization

Doing things the right way is not enough: You have to make sure the thing works, but also works fast. Premature optimization is the root of all evil: But no optimization gives you 10 FPS. I love squeezing every bit of processing power possible - I try to eliminate redundancies and meticulously plan out what I'm going to do to do it in the best way possible.

Coding standards

I am a stickler for creating, following and preaching about coding conventions. I think uniformity and consistency are extremely important. Just like a well-written book, all the code in the codebase should read and feel the same. We often forget code is read more than it is written, and we should aim to have it be readable first and clever second.

Programming

I've been programming in C++ for 13 years now and have since picked up a myriad of other languages. I'm well aware of current engines, technologies, innovations and limitations. I learn very quickly and adapt easily.

Production

I have been deeply involved as a director, editor and producer on various short film and trailer work over the past 10 years, having cut most trailers of the games I've worked on, providing voice direction, audio effects as well as camera support.

Composition

I've been playing music for about 15 years now and have composed music for my games as well as for short films and trailers. I have studied music theory and play the guitar, keyboard, drums, as well as sing. I play live shows and upload covers from time to time.
